Other Projects to Watch This is the page to learn of other projects affecting water rights and the environment for our community, other neighbors and other communities Keep abreast of other projects by going to http://www.ceqanet.ca.gov/ and searching for other projects to be aware of in California. There are plenty of projects to watch. Finding out abour these projects is the hard part. Rim Rock Vineyards Estate One project we just became aware of is Rim Rock Vineyard Estates which seams like a subdivission of houses set in a vineyardlike setting, parcels are large, 9-20 acres. According to documents, the overall area is arround 320 acres the entrance is on Hartmann Road right across from the Hidden Valley Lake Subdivision. The people over at Hidden Valley are particularly concerned about suface water run-off, drinking water contamination, traffic and noise pollution. They are also pushing for a groundwater management plan and an EIR. Click Here for an area map of the proposed Rim Rock Vineyard Estates. it is below Spuce Grove and Jerusalem Grade roads and Just above Hidden Valley Lake Guenoc Guenoc is also expanding. Click here to download PDF of the Guenoc Water Rights Modification Project Initial Study Prepared by AES, May 2003 Other Lake County Projects Projects Projects everywhere.. Development is happening all over Lake County. Several large housing developments are in the works with names like...Valley Oaks Subdivision on Hignway 53 Between Middletown and Hidden Valley. Projects of the Moment...ProvinsaliaClearlake City officials are extremely pro growth lately. Provinsalia project is going through it's approval process. Several groups oppose the project. Provinsalia will be impact the underdeveloped infrastructure, area roadways Cache Creek wildland and other environmental impacts. The Provinsalia development is one of many pending projects that need your attention right now. There is a website with all the critical details on that project athttp://www.lakelive.org/provinsalia/Provinsalia Project Meeting wasThursday, September 22, 6PM. A Joint meeting of the Clearlake City Council and the Clearlake Planning Commission at City Hall (Lakeshore & Olympic in Clearlake) to discuss the proposed Provinsalia development, which would put 720 housing units and a nine hole golf course on 200+ acres of wild land on the border of Cache Creek at the end of Dam Road. This one might get the prize as the most dubious of all the questionable subdivisions under consideration in Lake County: A short presentation about Provinsalia was presented. No public comment was aloud at the meeting. It appears the project is proceeding despite public outcry. The Lake county sierra club also wrote about Provinsalia and other current Lake county issues http://redwood.sierraclub.org/articles/Current/LakeGrpRpt.html
